The Big Chance - Rob Childs

This book was a brilliant quick story for football and sports fans. It is easy to read as it is a childrens book and as i read it a couple of years ago. However, it is so short i have had time to skim through it and get a good idea of what it was about. The charecters were also realistic and spread as there were more than 2 main charecters. My faveourite charecter was a boy who was fat and couldn't play football however he stood up and said it doesn't matter what shape or size you are to play football, not pointing any fingers, Peter Crouch or Andy Reid. That was basically the theme. The author was trying to say this speech in the charecters voices. The author makes you feel as if you are watching it from a third person perspevtive. Overall, i would give this book 8/10.

Possesion - Peter James

I have recently started this book. It's about a boy who dies and his mother doesn't believe that he is dead as she had sworn that she had seen him that morning. It turns out that Fabian, the boy, has some unfinished business to take care of. This book was easy to read and i would recomend to everyone over the age of 11 as it has some disturbing scenes in. However, the charectersw were well directed and did not do anything silly or too serious. My faveorite charecter was Fabian as i got to know more about him as the story went on. The setting of this story was successfully described. Overall i would mark this book 9 / 10 as it could of involved more charecters as there was a maximum of 9.
